Artists and filmmakers hold a mirror up to the times we live in and speculate future realities. They wield the ultimate power to incite change through their creative expression. As AI increasingly contributes to artistic creation and film production, questions regarding the balance between human creativity and machine ingenuity are coming into focus.

This research brings together global perspectives from artists, filmmakers and audiences to understand current sentiments towards AI, how people are using emerging technologies and what this could mean for our future. This research was conducted to inform the launch of a new AI art platform from NOWNESS & ArtReview: MC2
